The whole Longhorn Network is a mess. It was put together and advertised to the public before they had agreements in place to show the programs. I have Comcast and cannot even get it. I agree the least they can do is let it be streamed on the internet. I know numerous people who would appreciate this gesture.
Purely for profit UT has really done a disservice to loyal fans. It has already led to the demise of the Big 12. I am a UT grad, but am very embarrassed by my university's lack of concern for its own fans.
You would think that they could at LEAST offer a streaming option to Longhorn Alum. If UT Athletics or TxExes offered an online viewing package I'd pay for it. Or even broadcast it on the radio, I'd listen. But, to not offer grads a way to view the games is shameful. What are they thinking??
Maybe I'm just bitter but- with the way we're playing this season maybe we need a new market strategy... something like,"Texas. Defense sold separately."
